The babies have recently started to enjoy their jolly jumpers... its so nice to have another option for them to keep busy with (especially with all the rain we've had lately)!  Here are a few shots from today.

Toronto Trip

All my kids are currently sleeping (wow!) so I thought I'd do this quick post!  Troy, Griffin, and I returned from Toronto this past sunday night... we had a great trip, but it was nice to come home to the babies!  Here are just a couple shots from our trip:

Griffin LOVED the airplane ride!  Likely because he had his very own TV.

 At the Blue Jays game (which he only lasted through 3 innings... I think baseball is pretty boring too!)

Allyssa's wedding was absolutely beautiful... gorgeous venues, great friends, delicious food - we had a blast!  Griffin danced all night long and really impressed the guests with his moves (even I don't know where he got them all from!)  Here's a picture of the beautiful bride and myself.  By the way Allys, happy 30th birthday TODAY!!  Thanks Lyndsay for the photo!

Back at home, my mom, dad, and auntie Linda took great care of the babies.  It was hard to leave them, but such a relief to have such loving and competent caretakers for them!  Thank you Auntie Linda for driving down to help my mom out!  And thanks mom for taking some great pics of them while we were gone:

Off to Toronto!

Tomorrow morning (at 5:30am!) we're heading to Calgary airport to catch our flight to Toronto for my good friend Allyssa's wedding! I've been looking forward to this for soooo long... but tonight I'm feeling a little sad.  I thought it would be such a welcome break, but it turns out I'm pretty attached to these little cutie pies (go figure, hey?).  I'm sure it'll be fine once we're on our way... I can't wait to relax with friends and especially to give Griffin my undivided attention!  We dropped the babies off at my mom and dad's house tonight where they'll be staying for the next 5 days (THANK YOU mom, dad, and Auntie Linda for taking care of them for us - I know they're in good hands!).  It was tough to say goodbye... can you blame me?  Look at these sweet little faces!  I took this picture this morning.  I went into their room at 7am cause Sunny was crying and when I looked around the room I realized all three of them were awake and ready to eat... I usually get lucky and atleast one of them will sleep in longer so I don't have to attempt to breastfeed and bottlefeed all three!  We managed though... and I had three happy babies afterwards :)

First Soccer Practice

This week we attended Griffin's first soccer practice.  When we signed him up, Troy offered to help coach sometimes, but when we got the team roster, Troy's name was on top as the one and only team coach for the "Zebras"!  People who know Troy, know that he isn't the loud, outgoing type so I was wondering how he was going to convince twelve 3 & 4 year olds to do something that resembled soccer!  So me, being the most un-athletic person on the planet, offered to help him out.  Haha... needless to say, our little zebras didn't end up doing a whole heck of a lot (and that includes Griffin)... but "I think" we had fun... not completely sure.  Thanks goodness we had my mom, Troy's mom, and Natalie there to help with the babies.  Next time, we'll have more of a game plan... and  hopefully can figure this coaching stuff out.  Griffin is the one with sunglasses in the picture below... Intros...

This past weekend the babies got to meet some very important people!  My good friend Allyssa came down from Toronto for her bridal shower/stagette and got to meet the babies for the very first time... she did a great job as nanny for the night (the babies all slept 8:30-7:30!).  I can't wait to stand up for her at her wedding in May in Toronto... I miss you already Allyssa!  Here she is looking after two at once:

Also at Allyssa's shower/stagette, were long time friends Donell and Sharon... we had such a good time that night (thanks to my family for taking care of Gibsyn, Fletcher and Griffin)!

My grandparents came to Medicine Hat for Easter and got to meet the babies for the first time as well... I'm sorry I didn't get to visit with you guys more... the babies kept me busy that afternoon!

We also stopped in at the Shaunavon nursing home to introduce the babies to Troy's grandpa Ted... he's 102 years old and still sharp as a tack!

3 Months!

Happy 3 Months Birthday Babies (uh, yesterday)!  Thank you for each being your own little unique selves and for teaching me many life lessons everyday... namely PATIENCE, but mostly that LOVE conquers all and you three and big brother Griffin fill my heart up oh so full of it!

Before and After

So I started going to physiotherapy to help correct the abdominal separation I have from my belly being soooo overstretched.  It seems to be helping and my separation (which started at being 16cm long) is now down to 10cm.  In May I'll be meeting a surgeon who will decide if I need to have it surgically repaired.  This got me thinking about all the changes my body has gone through since carrying the triplets.  I'm already forgetting how uncomfortable I was at the end, but then I look at pictures taken at that time, or think about what I weighed and measured, and it comes flooding back!  It is pretty incredible what the human body is capable of handling. 

Check out this before and after shot of my poor feet.  They were sooo red and sore!  For the first two weeks after having the babies, I was up to pee every 1-2 hours because my body had so much fluid to get rid of.  I lost 50lbs in those first two weeks and felt like maybe I could fly ;)
