New Addition...

We definitely weren't interested in adding to our family... but every kid needs a pet, right? We thought a fish seemed like an easy enough addition... I'm already second guessing this decision as it's only been 5 days and the fish bowl already looks like it needs cleaning (gag!).  Griff seems to love the little guy... which he named Nemo. I wonder how many kids out there have a fish named Nemo?  Anyways, here's my little man with his newest friend:

Easy Peazy

People often ask if things are easier now that the babies are over a year.  And although I'd love to exclaim "yes, it sure is!", I simply can't.  Don't get me wrong, I could NEVER go back to the sleepless nights, the millions of bottles of formula and constant poopy pants.... but when some things get easier, other things seem to get harder.  Definitely more fun at this age,  but still hard.  I love that we mostly sleep through the night and we get regular naps every day and they can play and get around on their own.  But I didn't really consider how difficult it would be to wrangle up 3 one year olds... haha... take these photos for instance.  We went out to my parents place for supper the other night.  We let the babies loose in the backyard and it was like they were in a competition to see who could cover the most ground and eat the most dirt.  They love their freedom... I wish there were more places I could safely let them loose!

Happy Birthday Troy

I realize none of these photos appear to be related to Troy's birthday... but I completely forgot to pull out my camera that day.  I really wanted to wish him a happy birthday and I also really wanted to share these cute photos.... so for lack of creativity (and energy), I thought screw it, I'll wish Troy a happy birthday AND share these pictures. And then, I will go to bed.  I'm such a rebel.

Ahem.... so Happy 32nd Birthday honey (um, two days ago)... my hard-working, loyal sweetheart.  My rock.  The kids and I love you so much and deeply appreciate everything you do for our family.  xoxoxo
